1. The 14-day free trial (hosted plans)
Every hosted Scarif One plan — Solo or Studio — starts with a 14-day free trial. We take no payment method at signup. You get full access to the studio for the whole trial: generate as many ads, emails, and campaign briefs as you like, push them live, and connect every integration.
- No card required to start — sign up and start generating
- We ask for a card near the end of the trial, and the first charge lands on day 14
- If you don’t add a card by day 14, your account drops to read-only — your brand profile and assets stay visible, generation is paused, and nothing is charged
- You bring your own AI keys, so any AI spend during the trial sits on your own Google / Anthropic / OpenAI account, never ours
Charged and changed your mind?
If you’re charged at the end of the trial and decide within 14 days that Scarif isn’t for you, request a refund and we will:
- Refund 100% of the amount paid (the original transaction, not pro-rated)
- Cancel the subscription immediately, with no further charges
- Process the refund within 5 working days of the request, via the original payment method
- Preserve your data for 30 days after refund so you can re-subscribe at any time without losing what you built
How to request a refund
Go to /billingin your dashboard and click “Request refund”. You can also email [email protected] directly with your tenant slug. Tom personally reviews every refund request and replies within one business day. You don’t need to provide a reason.
What this means in practice
Generate as many ads / videos / emails as you want during the free trial. Run them. Push them to Meta or Google. If you don’t see Scarif paying its way, you simply never add a card — and if you do add one and then change your mind, you get the lot back. We accept the operational risk because the alternative — pretending tools always work for everyone — is dishonest.
Limits and exclusions (small print)
- The 14-day money-back window starts from the first charge (the trial itself is already free)
- Tier upgrades within an existing paid subscription don’t reset the clock — the original 14-day window applies to the original charge
- Annual pre-pay accounts get the same 14-day full-refund window from the first charge. Beyond 14 days, annual subscriptions are not pro-rated (this is the trade-off for the discount); cancel and the rest of the year is honoured but not refunded
- Refunds are only made to the original payment method
2. The 24-hour install guarantee (Sovereign self-host)
The Sovereign self-host licence (£1,999 one-time, ex-VAT) comes with a 24-hour install guarantee. If the platform isn’t running on your infrastructure within 24 hours of you starting the install, we will:
- Refund 100% of the licence fee
- Pay you for your setup time, capped at 4 hours × £100/hour (£400)
- Help you uninstall cleanly if you ask, at no additional cost
What counts as “running”
The platform is “running” once you can:
- Sign in to the dashboard at your installed URL
- Generate at least one ad creative end-to-end
- See the brand profile editor and at least one connected integration

What we ask of you
- Install on a supported platform (current list at /docs/install)
- Have your AI provider keys (Gemini, plus Anthropic / OpenAI if used) ready in advance
- Reach out to support before the 24-hour mark if anything is blocking — we can’t fix what we don’t know about
3. Legacy entitlements
Scarif One ran several plans before the move to flat BYOK pricing (Solo / Studio / Sovereign). If you bought under a retired plan or discount cohort, the original terms recorded against your account are honoured in full — they don’t expire. If the in-app accounting ever looks wrong, email [email protected]with your tenant slug and we’ll restore it.
4. Tom’s personal guarantee
I’m Tom, the founder. I personally read every refund request and approve them. The refund flow doesn’t go through a support queue — it goes through me. If something feels wrong about how the refund or install guarantee was handled, my email is [email protected] and I read it.
Refund-rate transparency: we publish our refund rate in the public changelogevery quarter. We’d rather you trust the system because the numbers tell the truth than because we say nice things.
